Virginia-based geospatial intelligence and satellite imagery provider BlackSky Technology secured reseller rights to 23 different tasking and archive imagery products owned by Airbus under the terms of a new partnership contract both companies signed and announced on Wednesday.

The deal gives BlackSky access to Airbus’ high-resolution optical imagery from Pléiades Neo (30 cm) and Pléiades (50cm) products and OneAtlas Basemap products, as well as SAR imagery and digital elevation models from Airbus’ WorldDEM and WorldDEM Neo platforms.

BlackSky will use these products to expand the services it provides customers through its LEO small satellite imagery constellation and its Spectra AI software, which collects and compiles data from other sources.

“I warmly welcome our partners at BlackSky and look forward to the strategic contributions our partnership will make as we support customers’ needs for high-revisit, high-resolution on-demand imagery, to address a wide variety of missions,” François Lombard, head of Intelligence business at Airbus Defense and Space, said in the announcement.
