Maxar Technologies has extended its satellite capacity agreement with European Space Imaging and Space Imaging Middle East, strategic imagery partners that serve customers in Europe, Northern Africa and the Middle East. The agreements are five-year contract expansions.

European Space Imaging and Space Imaging Middle East provide Maxar satellite imagery to government and commercial organizations in their respective regions.

European Space Imaging has been a customer of Maxar’s for 11 years. The company reserved dedicated capacity on the existing WorldView satellite constellation, accessed directly via its ground station in Germany. The agreement also allows the organization to upgrade its ground station in order to access the upcoming, next-generation WorldView Legion satellites.

“We’re delighted to continue one of our longest and most important partnerships in this region,” said Tony Frazier, Maxar executive vice president and general manager of Public Sector Maxar Earth Intelligence. “This agreement ensures European and Middle Eastern customers will have access to the highest quality satellite imagery and innovative products, such as our 15 cm HD imagery.”
