Welcome to the latest edition of Space Security Sentinel (S3), the last edition before CyberSat which kicks off in just a few days. For this edition of S3, freelance journalist Shaun Waterman got exclusive access to the Space ISAC Watch Center in Colorado. He shares an inside look at the beating heart of the largest private intelligence sharing effort in the space sector, and how its analysts assess threats to companies every day.

Next week’s CyberSat will offer an interesting barometer of where the industry is at and how the threat landscape is evolving. We’re featuring new speakers from OpenAI and Israeli defense firm Rafael. Despite the challenges of the U.S. government shutdown, we have stronger international government participation than ever before. One of the most important lessons of this year is that space is now considered a critical domain by countries around the world, and cyber threats against the space sector only continue to increase.

If you find this newsletter valuable, share it with colleagues who care about securing space. Got feedback or story ideas? I’d love to hear from you.
